MASSENA – The Nicandri Nature Center will host Project Feederwatch, Jan. 6 and 7, from 9 a.m.-5 p.m., a free citizen-science opportunity offered through the Cornell Lab of Ornithology that helps track bird populations.
Participating volunteers will observe and count the birds at the center’s feeding stations.
The center will supply a bird scope, binoculars and bird guides.
Project Feederwatch will continue every Saturday and Sunday throughout the spring.
