MASSENA -- NHL power skating coach and consultant Robby Glantz will teach a four-sessions power skating camp at the St. Lawrence Centre Arena from Aug. 18 to 21.
Glantz has instructed NHL players for nearly two decades and has worked for the L.A. Kings, Anaheim Ducks and Atlanta Thrashers. He was worked with well-known players including Sidney Crosby, Jack Johnson, Mike Cammilleri, Rob Blake, Scott Gomez and Danny Briere.
Glantz will teach skills including technique speed skating, power moves, puck handling, shooting and his overspeed bungee cord training.
Sessions are two hours each. Mites and squirts will be on the ice from 10:15 a.m. to 12:15 p.m. Pee wees and up will go from 12:45 p.m. to 2:45 p.m.
The workshop costs $190.
