COLTON -- The New Horizons Band of Northern New York will serenade the end of summer in the hamlet of South Colton on Sept. 10 from 6:30 to 8:30 p.m. The Colton Historical Society, in conjunction with the Town of Colton, is sponsoring the free concert in the Pavilion at Swift Field, rain or shine. The large covered Pavilion, located off Sugar Bush Lane in South Colton, can be seen from State Highway 56. This is the last in the town’s series of seven summer performances which will include an ice cream social provided by the St. Patrick’s – St. Paul’s Altar Rosary Society.
Attendees should bring their own chairs for sitting on the concrete floor of the Pavilion. There is ample parking as well as bathroom facilities at the field complex.
Donations will be accepted.
