CANTON -- Fifty-six quilts from the estate of the late Betty Vebber of Pierrepont will be offered to the public in a special sale taking place at The TAUNY Center, 53 Main St., on Sunday, Sept. 10, from 2-4 p.m.
All but a few of the quilts were made by Vebber.
Many of the items are hand quilted. Vebber, who passed away in January 2017 at the age of 88, was a prolific quilter, charter member of Borderline Quilters and a member of Sunday Rock Quilters.
