NCPR to host field day and human foosball tournament in Canton on Sunday

CANTON -- North Country Public Radio is hosting a Field Day and Human Foosball Tournament Sunday, Sept. 21, from 11 a.m. to 4 p.m., at Bend in the River Park, Lincoln St.

Participants can test their skills at 25 cent carnival games, race inflatable ponies, eat food and concessions from local vendors, join the Zumbathon, try PiYo, or just bring a picnic blanket, listen to the music and hang out with the NCPR staff.

Admission is free but donations are welcome.

Activities include: music all day from NCPR DJs: Radio Bob, Ellen Rocco, Jackie Sauter and David Sommerstein, carnival games for kids and adults, face and hair painting, roll giant NCPR dice for a chance at cash and prizes concessions, bake sale, NCPR gear, Zumba and PiYo from 11:30 a.m., to 2:30 p.m.

There will also be a 16-team “Human Foosball Tournament” starting at 11 a.m.

The tournament requires pre-registration and is $10 per person.
