RENSSELAER FALLS -- Indian Creek Nature Center will host a leisurely walk 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. July 8 to discover what butterflies, dragonflies, and damselflies are out and about, and learn about their lives and their behaviors.
Leader Steven Daniel will discuss adaptations that help them survive, the plants they lay eggs on, and those they get nectar from.
Some will be breeding nearby in a shallow pond.
Those who wish to participate will meet Daniel at the end of the access road with a DEC sign about a mile north, toward Canton, of the Nature Center drive on the east side of Rt. 14.
Dress to prevent tick bites.
