CLARE -- Nature up North will host a snowshoe hike to Lampson Falls on Saturday, Feb. 28., from 10 a.m. to noon.
Participants can meet at Lampson Falls Trail on County Route 27. Look for DEC sign. The trip is approximately two-miles and mostly flat. On the hike back the group will explore the winter woods and view ice formations on the Grasse River.
Beginners are welcome. Dress warm, bring water, a snack and camera if you choose to.
Snowshoes are available to rent for the hike at no charge. Transportation will be available from the St. Lawrence University Bookstore at 9:30 a.m.
