MASSENA – The Friends of the Nature Center at Robert Moses Park will host several upcoming artist workshops.

Join West Potsdam artist, Becky Harblin, for an outdoor pastel painting workshop at the Nature Center Sept. 7 from 10 a.m. to noon.

Participants will be using portable easels out in nature to create their own unique art.

Also on Sept. 7 Donna Jadlos of Adirondack Basket Tree will teach a basket weaving workshop from 1 – 4 p.m.

Each participant will make their own colorful and useful basket to keep.

All materials are provided, but class is limited so pre-registration is required to attend.

Local area artist, Marion Bradish of Riverflow Studio in Winthrop will teach an outdoor acrylic painting class from noon to 2 p.m. Sept. 8.

This class is the second in a series on Birch trees that Marion is teaching at the Nature Center and is free.

All materials will be provided.
