OGDENSBURG -- An official from the National Catholic Bioethics Center, Philadelphia, Penn. will discuss end of life issues on Sept. 6.
Fr. Ted Pacholczyk, the center's director, will offer a workshop called “Death, Dying and Decisions at the End of Life” 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. that day at Wadhams Hall.
It will include morning and afternoon presentations by Pacholczyk and a question-and-answer panel with director of Pro-Life Activities for the New York State Catholic Conference Kathleen Gallagher. Bishop Terry LaValley will celebrate the closing Mass.
Catholic lawyers will be onhand to assist with health care proxy forms.
There is a $20 registration fee, which includes lunch and workshop materials.
