EDWARDS – The Edwards-Knox Central School Yearbook Committee is organizing the My School Color Run 2017, for Saturday, Sept. 16, from 9:30 a.m.-12:30 p.m. at the school, 2512 County Route 24.
The My School Color Run is an untimed fun run/walk. Throughout the course participants will experience color splash zones, where they'll be doused in color and end with a final color toss celebration.
The event will raise funds for the school.
The run is open to all with a $30 entry fee. Registration includes a race bib and color packet. Paper registration forms are available upon request.
Registration is at 9:30 and runners step off at 10:30.
A Chinese auction will be held during the race to benefit the yearbook committee. Refreshments will be available to purchase from the EK Booster Club.
A Group Color Run Celebration photo will be taken 5 minutes after the last runner completes the course.
Students participating in the run may collect donations from sponsors. The students may be eligible for a free yearbook based on donations received. If making a donation online please be sure to include the student’s name who should receive credit for the donation.
