MASSENA — Norwood musician David Wells, the singer/songwriter, guitarist, and percussionist from Wells and the Gathering, will perform at the Center Court of the St. Lawrence Centre mall from noon-3 p.m. Saturday, June 16,
David’s music career began when playing with local bands in high school, and continued when he attended the Crane School of Music at SUNY Potsdam.
Since graduating from Crane, David has become an accomplished songwriter and has produced two solo recordings.
He spent some time out of the area, working and performing as a drummer and as a singer/songwriter. In the early 2000s he moved back to the North Country and continues to play at a variety of local and regional venues.
David performs alone as well as joining other musicians under the name of Dave Wells and The Gathering.
He has also played with Community Performance Series and Northern Symphonic Winds.
