NORWOOD -- The Norwood-Norfolk Central School Drama club will present "Mary Poppins" at 7 p.m. on Friday, March 13 and Saturday, March 14, in the high school auditorium.
The cast and crew consists of more than 60 students in grades six through 12, according to Jonathan Burnett, who is in charge of the drama club.
The story follows nearly the same plot as the movie but mixes in parts of the book as well. There are some of the same songs from the movie and some new ones thrown in too, Burnett said.
Mary Poppins is played by senior Cheyne Voss who has been involved with the drama club since the seventh grade.
Poppins does her best to bring the Banks family back together and value each other.
The club held auditions for the play in December and began rehearsals in January, he said.
Tickets are $8 in advance for adults and $6 for kids. Prices are the door are $10 adults and $8 kids. A $25 immediate family plan is available.
