POTSDAM -- The Potsdam Community Dog Park will host the "Musical Extravaganza Fundraiser" at Ives Park on Saturday, Aug. 8 from 2 until 4 p.m. to assist in the completion of the park.
Zach Barnes, who recently served as the musical director for Grasse River Players Production, "These Shining Lives," will lead instrumentalists and singers.
Dan Gagliardi will play bass, Eric Gagliardi on trombone, and David Barnes will perform on drums.
Elaine Kuracina and Anna Monroe will sing.
Kuracina has had recent success with her original production, "American Muse," both in Russell and Saratoga. Monroe is a senior from Canton Central and is involved in theatre. She performed in the Sunday Rock Legacy Project/Grasse River Players production of "I Love A Piano."
Dog Park Committee's President Deborah Massell and vice president Jeannie Blake will also sing during the fundraiser.
Massell is a voice professor at Crane and Blake is an active member of the Grasse River Players Community Theatre Group.
Donations will be accepted.
