CANTON – Festive floral arrangements, refreshments and holiday music will fill the Silas Wright House, 3 East Main St., for a holiday open house Dec. 6 from 4 to 8 p.m.
The open house, hosted by the St. Lawrence Historical Association, will include live seasonal music beginning at 4 p.m. with the Canton Central School vocal jazz ensemble, under the direction of Kimberly Busch.
At 5 p.m. the North Winds Woodwind Quintet will perform.
At 6:15 p.m. the names from the Civil War memory tree will be read.
The Noteworthy Handbell Choir will jingle their bells to get attendees in the spirit of the season at 7 p.m.
The Canton Garden Club will decorate the Silas Wright House with floral arrangements for the holidays, as they have for 38 years, as well as decorating the Victorian Christmas trees for the SLCHA.
