"Music Speaks," digital print by Catherine LaPointe, artwork inspired by Shatter Me by Lindsey Stirling.
POTSDAM -- A new group exhibit organized by the St. Lawrence County Arts Council features artwork which was "Inspired by Music."
The exhibit opens Friday, Jan. 22 from 4 to 6 p.m. at the Potsdam Town Hall, 18 Elm St.
The artwork by Angela Ballou, Sharon H.J. Cheng, N.J. DeVico, Catherine LaPointe, Beverly Patchin, and JianFen Wells includes a diverse collection of art mediums, including oil pastel, interactive mixed media, watercolor, and photography.
“Inspired by Music” will be on display at the SLC Arts Gallery at the town hall through Feb. 19. The exhibit and opening are free and open to the public, and wheelchair accessible.
