RENSSELAER FALLS -- Indian Creek Nature Center is hosting a mushroom walk on July 12 from 9:30 a.m. to noon.
Claire Burkum of St. Lawrence University will give an introduction to fungal identification methods, including characteristics to observe and important notes to take. She will also discuss fungal life cycles and the ecological roles of various fungi that are found.
Attendees should bring a hand lens or magnifying glass, if they own one.
