MASSENA — The New York Power Authority (NYPA) will once again host its “Beat the Heat Summer Movie Days” every Tuesday this summer at the admission-free Hawkins Point Visitors Center and Boat Launch in Massena.
The special summer campaign, which is in addition to the visitors center’s Friday matinee movie series, features a full day of free movies and popcorn every Tuesday during the months of July and August.
Family-friendly films will be shown at 10 a.m., 1 p.m. and 3 p.m. in the visitors center’s air-conditioned auditorium.
The schedule for July is:
July 5:
10 a.m. “Cars”
1 p.m. “Gulliver’s Travels”
3 p.m. “Despicable Me”
July 12:
10 a.m. “Tangled”
1 p.m. “Tron: Legacy”
3 p.m. “Secretariat”
July 19:
10 a.m. “Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows, Part 1”
1 p.m. “Gnomeo and Juliet”
3 p.m. “Diary of a Wimpy Kid: Rodrick Rules”
July 26:
10 a.m. “Yogi Bear”
1 p.m. “Rango”
3 p.m. “Megamind”
