PARISHVILLE -- Amanda’s Butterfly Wishes Memorial Fund has set Saturday, Aug. 8 for their third annual motorcycle run and second annual softball tournament at the Parishville Fire Hall, 25 Rutman Road.
Registration for the run is from 10 to 11:30 a.m. The donation is is $20 for a bike and $10 for a passenger, which includes an event t-shirt and a seat at the pig roast. Blessing of the bikes is at 11:45 a.m., and the run begins at noon. Those without a ride are welcome to join the fun at the fire hall at $8 per person, kids under 8 free. The softball games begin at 7 a.m. There will be raffles, entertainment, food and a cash bar.
Proceeds go to the Amanda’s Butterfly Wishes Memorial Fund, created for Amanda Lynn Lashomb, a 2011 graduate of PHCS who passed away suddenly in May of 2012 from complications of ALS or Lou Gehrig's disease.
