CANTON -- The Second Saturday Children’s Program at the St. Lawrence County Historical Association, 3 E. Main St., will host a Mother’s Day celebration Saturday May 11 at 11 a.m.
Designed for kids ages 4 to 10, the program will discuss the history of Mother’s Day, a holiday officially established in 1914 as the second Sunday in May by President Woodrow Wilson.
Kids will then create a Mother’s Day card and poem and view historical cards.
