MORRISTOWN – Morristown Central High School, 408 Gouverneur St., is hosting a transition night Wednesday, Nov. 15, from 5:30-7:30 p.m., open to all students in grades 8-12 in all districts.
This event will provide the opportunity for students with disabilities and their families to explore options to achieve a successful transition after high school.
Students and their families will have the opportunity to meet with community resources organizations like Resource Center for Independent Living (RCIL), Northern Regional Center for Independent Living (NRCIL), Adult Career and Continuing Education Services-Vocational Rehabilitation (ACCES-VR), Transitional Living Services (TLS), St. Lawrence NYSARC, Maximizing Independent Living Choices (MILC), Office of Mental Health (OMH), Office of Persons with Developmental Disabilities (OPWDD), SUNY Canton and Cerebral Palsy Association of the North Country.
The event is funded in part by Family Support Dollars through Sunmount DSO.
Dinner will be provided by the school.
