MORLEY -- The Morley Library Association will present a day with Molly Waddell, award winning master quilter, Saturday, April 27 at the Morley Wesleyan Church Fellowship Hall, 7254 CR 27.
Waddell, originally from Ogdensburg, has won numerous honors for her quilts on the local, regional and national level.
Some of her work has been published in the Quilting Quarterly Magazine, Quilt Art Calendars, Fons & Porter Love of Quilting Magazine and Quilters Newsletter Magazine. Waddell is also a National Quilting Association Certified Quilt Judge.
The workshop will begin with a look at the quilts in Waddell's collection. A trunk show will be held from 9 to 10:30 a.m. for $15.
After the show Waddell will host a hands-on workshop to shows quilters how to assemble and sew an Adirondack Cardinal appliqué. The class will include lunch. Registration is $45, with materials not included. Register prior to March 29 and the fee will be $50 for both. No quilting experience is necessary.
