MORLEY – The Morley Library Association and the Morley History Group will offer a presentation on one-room schools Sunday, May 20 at 2 p.m. at the library.
Judy Liscum, retired Canton Central School teacher and author of “Stepping Back in Time -- Tales From the Country Schools,” will talk about one-room area schools, including the Morley School which was built in 1857 and closed in 1966.
All former students of the Morley School and one-room schools in the surrounding area are invited to share their memories, stories and photos of their school days and classmates.
