CANTON -- The Morley History Group will meet at 2 p.m. Sunday, Jan. 18 at the Morley Library, 7230 County Route 27.
The group is compiling information about the men and women of the Morley area who have served in the military.
The project started during the summer festival as a listing of all Civil War soldiers buried in the Morley Cemetery.
The listing has grown to include all veterans of any conflicts from the Revolutionary War, War of 1812, Civil War, Spanish American War, World Wars I and II, Korean War, Vietnam, Persian Gulf War and current conflicts.
The project now includes all veterans from the Morley area buried in any cemetery.
The group is looking for military records, news articles and photographs or family histories with information about veterans. Anyone is invited.
