MORLEY -- The Morley Community Summer Festival will feature a series of open houses and tours at local historic building Aug. 23 from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m.
Festival-goers will have the opportunity to visit the historic Trinity Chapel, the Harison-Morley Grist Mill and the Morley Library. At the Chapel, self-guided tours of the Morley Cemetery will be offered as well as a performance at 1 p.m. by the Noteworthy Handbell Choir.
The Morley History Group will have a display of old Morley photos and other materials from their collection at the library.
Down the hill on the banks of the Grasse River, the newly reorganized Harison-Morley Grist Mill group will offer tours of the Grist Mill, along with demonstrations, displays and other activities.
