CRANBERRY LAKE -- More than 600 anglers are expected to take part in the Cranberry Lake Fire Department’s “First Strike” ice fishing derby on Saturday, Jan. 31.
The doors for registration open at the fire house, 7115 State Route 3, at 4 a.m. on the day of the event. Fishing begins at 7 a.m. on the ice of Cranberry Lake.
There will be drawings at the fire house at 4 p.m. for door prizes and a 50/50.
It will also include a kids perch derby for those under age 12.
Registration is $30 for adults if registered before Jan. 26, and $35 afterward.
Perch derby fee is $10.
