CANTON -- More than 1,000 students have already signed up for SUNY Canton’s 90 online winterterm courses, which begin Dec. 17 and conclude Jan. 15.
The 90 courses in business, finance, criminal justice, social science and other disciplines, are accessible via computer anywhere.
"Winter break is the perfect time for students to take advantage of SUNY Canton's flexible, affordable classes in an online learning environment," said Molly A. Mott, dean of academic support services and instructional technologies. "They can earn credits that will help them fulfill graduation requirements, which makes it easier to graduate on time or early."
Credits earned can also satisfy degree requirements at other SUNY schools, part of SUNY's goal to facilitate a seamless transfer of credits across campuses.
The winterterm registration deadline is Dec. 16.
