GOUVERNEUR – The Gouverneur Activity and Learning Center will be hosting a Mom's Day Out while your children learn about Scrubby Bear on Tuesday, May 10 from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m.

Lunch will be served to all. There is no cost to participate in the day's activities and children of all ages can attend.

Moms will be learning about fun and free or low cost stress reduction techniques for parents, such as getting nails painted and listening to music.

While Mom is relaxing, the children will be engaged in Scrubby Bear activities provided by the American Red Cross of Northern New York.

They will be learning about how germs are spread, how to prevent the spread of disease and to properly wash their hands through numerous fun activities.
