AKWESASNE -- Mohawk International Raceway is holding races on May 16 featuring the 358 modifieds, sportsman, mod lites and the four-cylinder bandit division.

Gates open at 4 p.m., races start at 7:30 p.m.

Billy Dunn will be back in action in the Laurent Ladouceur-owned ride that he drove to track championships the past two seasons, but he will have several competitors looking to put an end to the streak including Carey Terrance, Chris Raabe, Brian McDonald and more.

In recent years, the Sportsman division was all Dylan Evoy, but in 2013 Corey Wheeler earned the track title. Both will be back in 2014 looking to come out on top with several other competitors looking to make their mark such as local young guns Mike Maresca and Louis Jackson Jr.

The mod lite division will be wide open in 2014 with last year’s champion Joel Hargrave making the move to the sportsman division. Mathieu Robinson, Harley Brown and the Reif family (Dan, Tim and Brad) will all be looking to claim wins and the coveted championship.

The bandit division will also return in 2014 and it is yet to be determined if Jean Marc Larose will be back to defend his title.
