AKWESASNE -- Mohawk International Raceway and the Akwesasne Mohawk Casino are celebrating Independence Day weekend with a July 4 firework show at the racetrack.
Family passes are available, and ticket price also includes a full night of racing at MIR with a 50-lap modified main event plus sportsman, bandits and mod-lites.
General admission for Friday night is $25 for adults and $20 for seniors. Children 12 and under are $10. Family pricing is available Friday night only for $50. This will include two adult and children’s passes (12 and under). Pit admission is $30 for DIRTcar members and $35 for non-members. Pit gates will open at 4:30 p.m., with main gates opening at 5 p.m. Races start at 7:30 p.m.
Additional free parking is available across from the track at Jacobs Tobacco.
Mohawk International Raceway is midway between the Seaway International Bridge to Cornwall, Ont. and the Akwesasne Mohawk Casino. From Route 37, turn south onto Frogtown Road.
