MASSENA – Akwesasne-based SPIRITFC will host an amateur mixed martial arts event Nov. 23 with 12 fights including five title fights at the St. Lawrence Centre Arena, 6100 State Highway 37.
The fights will feature multiple local fighters from Gouverneur and Akwesasne with the first fight beginning at 7 p.m.
Brett “The Hitman” Hart, Akwesasne, will defend his light-heavyweight title in the main event.
SPIRITFC held their first event at the mall in March of this year that was attended by approximately 700 people and expected to return in February of next year.
Ringside tickets cost $50, front row floor tickets are $40, and general admission bleacher seats run $30.
Children under 12 receive free admission.
Doors open at 6 p.m. and alcohol will be served.
