POTSDAM - “Michiko Taylor: Life and Nature” opens Friday, Dec. 5 from 5 to 7 p.m. at the St. Lawrence County Arts Gallery.
This solo exhibit features still life, landscape, and other watercolor paintings by Michiko Taylor of Potsdam. Taylor is a self-taught artist who began painting in watercolors in 2001 after taking an introductory course at SUNY Potsdam.
The exhibit will be on display at the Potsdam Town Hall, 18 Elm St. through Jan. 14.
The exhibit and opening are free and wheelchair accessible.
The gallery is open Mondays through Fridays from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m.; it will be closed Dec. 25, 26, and Jan. 1 for holiday observance.
