MADRID -- Alumni from eight local school districts are teaming up to fight cancer in the Michael Pavelski Alumni Challenge Saturday, March 26 from 10 a.m. to 7:30 p.m. at Madrid-Waddington Central School on St. Rt. 345.
Schools sending alumni teams include Edwards-Knox, Lisbon, Ogdensburg Free Academy, Heuvelton, Potsdam, Canton, Hermon-DeKalb, plus host Madrid-Waddington.
There will also be a three-point contest with a trophy for the winner, 50/50 raffles and prize raffles.
Admission is free.
Refreshments will also be sold.
All proceeds will be donated to the American Cancer Society.
