POTSDAM -- SUNY Potsdam's Crane School of Music will host a performance by renowned mezzo-soprano Robynne Redmon and Crane piano faculty members, François Germain and Paul Wyse.
This concert, titled "Ravel Around the World," will be March 2 at 7:30 p.m.in the Sara M. Snell Music Theater.
The concert program will explore the many foreign influences in Maurice Ravel's music, from Greece ("Five Greek Popular Songs") to Vienna ("La Valse"), with stops in Spain ("Rhapsodie Espagnole") and Persia ("Shéhérazade")
This concert is free.
The public can attend.
