POTSDAM -- The Met Live Summer Encore will bring opera classics to the silver screen once again this July and August, courtesy of J.S.Cinemas and SUNY Potsdam’s Crane School.
The 2013 Met Live summer schedule will feature rebroadcasts from the Metropolitan Opera's award-winning series of live performances.
The 2013 summer schedule will include:
• Georges Bizet's "Carmen" July 1
• Giuseppe Verdi's "Il Trovatore" July 8
• Gioachino Rossini's "Armida" July 15
• Giuseppe Verdi's "La Traviata" July 22
• Giacomo Puccini's "Turandot" July 29
• Gioachino Rossini's "Il Barbiere di Siviglia" Aug. 5
All shows are at 6:30 p.m. at the Potsdam Roxy theater.
Shows will include English subtitles and short intermissions.
Tickets will be $13 for adults, $11 for senior citizens, $9 for students and $7 for kids under age 18.
