POTSDAM – The Mermaid Theatre of Nova Scotia will perform
Leo Lionni’s Frederick, Swimmy and Inch by Inch Tuesday, Oct. 5, at 10 a.m. and 12:30 p.m. at the
Snell Theater, SUNY Potsdam, as part of the Community Performance Series Meet the Arts series.

Drawn from Leo Lionni’s Caldecott Honor books, Frederick, a poetic mouse, makes everyday life an artful experience; Swimmy is a tiny fish who uses ingenuity to fend off danger; and in Inch by Inch, a lovable inchworm shares his facility for measuring absolutely everything.

These stories feature an assortment of innovative puppetry styles and imaginative lighting techniques as well as an original musical score.

Tickets can be purchased through the CPS Box Office, located in Snell Hall, SUNY Potsdam, by calling 267-2277, or visiting www.cpspotsdam.org.
