CHIPMAN -- Lifetree Café, Scotch Presbyterian Church, will host a discussion on the stigma of mental illness Monday, July 29 at 7 p.m.
The program, titled "Mental Illness: Breaking the Silence, Overcoming the Shame," explores the isolation often experienced by those with mental illness and their loved ones.
The program features a filmed interview with Amy Simpson, author of the book "Troubled Minds."
Snacks and beverages will be provided.
Lifetree Café is a place where people gather for conversation about life and faith in a casual coffeehouse-type setting.
