Men’s and women’s soccer league starting in North Country to meet Oct. 28

The Northern New York Adult Soccer League has been established and is seeking new teams and players for the 2013 sports season.

The league is seeking new adult players and will also be setting up a youth division.

The league has one men’s division team called Survivors. The roster is Coach Ben VanDamme, team captain Jon Turner, along with Luke Williamson, Tom Hollister, Jeff Johnson, Joshua Aldridge, Robert Pike, and Luke Brown.

An open board meeting is set for 11 a.m. Sunday, Oct. 28 at the Bedrock Café, Rt. Route 37. The café is the official headquarters and sponsor for the Northern New York Adult Soccer League.

The league’s leadership is President Ben VanDamme of Ogdensburg, Vice President Jon Turner of Morristown, Treasurer and Secretary Joshua Aldridge of Morristown, along with board members Luke Williamson of SUNY Canton and Tom Hollister of Hammond.
