NORWOOD -- The Norwood Beach Emergency Response Day will be held Thursday, Aug. 6, at 6 p.m. at the beach.
Representatives from the Norwood Police Department, Norwood Volunteer Fire Department, and Potsdam Volunteer Rescue Squad will bring their equipment and emergency vehicles for people of all ages to view and touch.
Additional demonstrations include a vehicle extrication, how an arrest is made, the basics on emergency medical treatment, and a tour of each emergency vehicle.
Free Stewart’s ice cream and refreshments will be served.
