GOUVERNEUR – Come hear local group Matune Creek give the best in folk music as the fifth annual Summer Concert Series at Riverview Park pavilion continues on Aug. 7.
This is a chance to see some of Gouverneur’s finest singers giving their best for the crowd.
All concerts are held on Sundays from 4 to 6 p.m., rain or shine. They are free to the public, but donations are welcome.
Future concerts in the series include:
• Aug. 14: Barb Heller - This well known NPR radio personality is also a talented musician who will entertain one and all. A bit of sing along as well.
• Aug. 21: Casey Street Shuffle - A new band to the series this year, they excel in Irish, English and Scottish folk music.
• Aug. 28: Mike White and Dale Streeter - Mike and Dale will bring us on home with some fine county and folk music to end the summer.
