CANTON -- An informal event to learn more about the Master Gardener Volunteer program and how to join will be held Jan. 22, from 1-2:30 p.m. at the Extension Learning Farm, 2043B State Highway 68.
Attendees will be able to meet current Master Gardeners, and hear about their projects.
The event is free and includes refreshments.

The program plans to host a free winter workshop series with the following scheduled: Winter Tree ID on Feb. 5, All About Perennials on March 5 and Seed Starting/Garden Planning on April 2.
