MASSENA -- The St. Lawrence Centre Arena is hosting a girls' camp for players born 2002 and 2007 on July 19. This camp is slated for 8:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. and includes both on-ice and off-ice instruction, a guest fitness instructor and lunch.
Participants must have full hockey equipment and will need an extra set of comfortable clothing for off-ice activities.
Instructors are two local hockey players, Alison Greene and Alexa Cappione. Greene plays D-III NCAA hockey for the Norwich Cadets as a forward. She has been a youth hockey instructor at the St. Lawrence Centre Arena for two years. Cappione plays D-III NCAA hockey for the UMass Boston Beacons as a defensewoman. She starts the third year of her college career this fall.
The cost per player is $55. This camp is limited to 20 players.
