MASSENA -- The Friends of the Robert Moses State Park Nature Center will host free creative workshops Saturday, June 15.
Beth Robinson will hold a workshop on the “Alexander Technique” from 10 a.m. to noon. The technique helps rid the body of harmful tension that causes pain and health problems over time.
Juan Adames will demonstrate Laido, an ancient Japanese martial art from 1 to 3 p.m. He will also discuss the history of Japanese swordsmanship. Participants will learn the technique and practice with wooden swords.
Both events will meet at the trailhead of the center, 19 Robinson Bay Rd.
