MASSENA -- The VFW, 101 W. Hatfield St., will host a jamboree on May 30 at 2 p.m. for a retired Massena Police officer who is sick with cancer.
Scott Rogers, a former K9 officer, has malignant schwannoma, a rare nerve cancer. He is traveling to New York City for treatment.
The jamboree will include a DJ, pizza, subs, snacks, a 50/50 drawing and silent auction.
All proceeds raised will go to Rogers and his family.
