Massena Triad hosting fourth Senior Information Fair May 24

MASSENA -- Massena Triad is hosting its fourth Senior Information Fair on May 24 at the Massena Community Center on Beach Street from 10 a.m.-2 p.m.

The featured events at the fair is the Red Cross Citizen Preparedness Course by James Cayey, Red Cross Chair and COAD member and emergency preparedness presentations by Michael R. Schwartz, Salvation Army Divisional Disaster Director and Rebecca Allen, MSW Emergency Preparedness Coordinator for SLC Public Health.

Massena Fire Department will provide free smoke detectors and installation to seniors aged 65 and older.

Vendors that have registered to participate at the fair include Salvation Army, Health Services of Northern New York, Hospice & Palliative Care of St. Lawrence Valley, Fidelis Care NY, Healthy Way, St. Vincent de Paul, MILC, Claxton Hepburn Hospital, North Country P/P Council, NY Statewide Senior Action Council, Camp Mandaville, LifeLine at Canton Potsdam Hospital, Massena Library, Seaway Parkinson's Coalition, St. Lawrence County Veterans Services, American Red Cross, United Helpers, St. Lawrence County Public Health, Highland Nursing Home, NBT Bank and the Massena Drug Free Coalition.

A light lunch and refreshments will be provided by the Massena Senior Citizens Club for a minimal fee.
