MASSENA -- The Massena Rotary Club and Elks Lodge will sponsor their eighth wine and beer tasting next month.
All ticket sales benefit local food pantries.
It will be Saturday, Dec. 5 from 4 to 8 p.m. at the Massena Elks Lodge, Bowers Street.
Over the years, this fundraiser has raised thousands of dollars for St. Vincent De Paul, the Massena Neighborhood Center and The Salvation Army, according to a news release announcing the event.
Rotarian chef Tom Gramuglia will prepare hors d’oeuvres including beef tenderloin, roast leg of lamb, broiled salmon, roasted Tom turkey, scallops, shrimp, vodka ravioli assorted pasta dishes, Croghan bologna and international cheeses. A special feature will be “Tony's World Champion Clam Chowder,” from Cedar Key on the gulf coast of Florida.
Rotarian Dale Kramer will provide entertainment.
Tickets, which are $25, are available at the Massena Elks Lodge, East Orvis Street Discount Wine and Liquor or any Massena Rotarian.
