MASSENA – The Massena Public Library Fall Book Sale, sponsored by The Friends of the Massena Library, will be held Thursday, Oct. 20, from 10 a.m. until 8 p.m., and Friday, Oct. 21, from 10 a.m. until 4:30 p.m.
The bag sale will be Saturday, Oct. 22, from 10 a.m. until 4:30 p.m.
This sale’s selection includes cookbooks, history, travel, medicine/health, gardening, crafts, hobbies, self-help, romance, religion/philosophy, metaphysics, biography, fiction, children and young adult books, science/nature, textbooks, reference, season-appropriate mysteries/thrillers, local interest, Native American/ethnic, and science fiction/fantasy.
Most prices range from 25 cents to $1; premium books, which are those in new condition, are $3.
Members of the Friends will have a chance to preview the sale Wednesday, Oct. 19, from 6 to 8 p.m. New members are always welcome, and may join as active or inactive members that evening.
Memberships run from Oct. 1 through Sept. 30 of the following year and fees are $5 per individual, or $10 per family.
