MASSENA -- The Nov. 7 “Freezin for a Reason” polar plunge will raise money for Special Olympics New York athletes.
At noon, people will jump into the chilly St. Lawrence River at Hawkins Point Visitors Center.
Registration is at 10 a.m.
Those taking the plunge will collect monetary pledges.
There will be prizes for top fundraiser and top fundraising teams.
Every participant that raises $100 gets a sweatshirt.
