MASSENA -- The Massena Neighborhood Center’s Christmas Program is in need of donations as last year’s program helped over 1400 people; an even greater need is anticipated this year.
Hannaford Supermarket, 6300 State Highway 37, is offering Helping Hands boxes containing essential prepared food items that become a part of the Neighborhood Center's Christmas food baskets.
Together they provide not only a Christmas dinner, but additional nutritional food for each family for three to five days.
Helping Hands boxes, located near the entrance, may be purchased at he Hannaford checkouts for $10 each and set aside for pickup by the Massena Neighborhood Center volunteers, or purchased to deliver to recipients of your choice.
Monetary donations can be made at the Massena Neighborhood Center, 61 Beach Street, Suite 103, Massena, NY 13662.
