MASSENA -- The Friends of the Robert Moses State Park are hosting several upcoming events.
• The Potsdam Co-op will serve a potluck dinner Aug. 21 at 6 p.m. at the Massena Nature Center. For $1 make "Cake-in-an-Orange," a delicious dessert over the open fire pit.
• Speared pineapples over the fire pit for $1 will be served Aug. 23 at 6:30 p.m. at the Nature Center.
• Free introductory reiki class with Suzan McDermott Aug. 24 from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. at Nature Center trailhead. Yoga mats provided.
• Outdoor yoga Aug. 31 from 10 to 11 a.m. at Nature Center. Local instructor Marie Kirwan, yoga mats provided.
• Campfire dessert over a fire pit Aug. 31 from 6:30 to 7:30 p.m. for a $1 donation. Take a guided walk under the twinkling Massena sky-scape and join local star gazer, Bruce McClure as he leads this star walk at 7:30 p.m.
