MASSENA -- The Robert Moses Nature Center is hosting upcoming DIY natural beauty products and junior citizen scientist events.
“Be Your Best Valentine” is Feb. 7 at the Brasher Library and Feb. 14 at the Massena Public Library. The class will deal with using coconut oil to make natural beauty products including body butter and hand scrub. The event starts at 10 a.m. each day and is for teenagers to adults.
“Junior Citizen Scientist” is Feb. 28 from 1 to 2:30 p.m. The group will take a snowshoe hike around the nature center trails and learn about winter birds.
